Club Update
Litany:
Leader: This year’s Cadet theme is “Lead the Way”. The Cadets are learning how God directs and trains them as leaders.
Leader: Cadets must be an example in Christian speech.
Cadets: Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. (Proverbs 4:24)
Congregation: We will encourage you to become good leaders by your example.
Leader: Cadets must be an example in their Christian conduct.
Cadets: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12)
Congregation: We will pray for you as you follow God’s leading and serve in His kingdom.
Leader: Cadets must be an example, displaying Christian love.
Cadets: And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (1 John 4:21)
Congregation: We will support you, enfolding you in God’s love.
Leader: Cadets must show their Christian faith, in all areas of life.
Cadets: For we live by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Congregation: We will guide you as you follow God’s commands.
Leader: Cadets must show purity in their lives.
Cadets: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)
Congregation: We will help you experience the joy of living a life of following Jesus.
Leader: Cadets, continue to learn and grow to be more Christlike in all areas of your life.
Cadets: And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17)
